Our story
Avia’s story is a tale of encounters. Piero Palladino and Antonio Viana’s meeting led to the company's establishment in 1975. A year later, fashion illustrator Alberto Lattuada joined the duo, which kicked off a collaboration that lasted until the 1990s.
Every year, Lattuada's genius and unmistakable style made its way into both the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer (FW & SS) collections. The collections were created with Avia yarns and presented at the Pitti Filati fashion trade show in Florence, Italy.
With his very personal stylistic trait, the designer created hundreds of sketches for Avia, which were then transformed into garments by applying the most suitable type of yarn.
